Cylindrical grinding (O.D.) grinding wheels

Cylindrical grinding is applied to remove material on round workpieces
achieving at the same time perfect geometrical shape and good surface finishing .
Choosing the best specification you can easily grind any part giving them the shape and finishing requested.

Through feed cylindrical grinding wheels

Molemab through feed grinding wheels are suitable for grinding many different materials, such as high resistance hardened and tempered steel, hardened and casehardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron and non ferrous metals. Every feature, in shape and sizes, can be made according to the customer’s need.

Cylindrical plunge grinding wheels with special profiles

In cylindrical plunge grinding the wheel axis is parallel to that of the workpiece. It is recommended for grinding conical spindles, cylindrical surfaces and shoulders. Wheels for plunge grinding are available in different thickness and specifications.

Grinding wheels for crankshafts and camshafts

Grinding wheels for crankshafts or camshafts (engine reconditioning) are generally used at 35 m/sec. They are suitable to grind hardened steel and/or cast iron (even with chrome plating). Depending on the application and the machine they can be made in different shapes and sizes.

Shellac wheels for super finishing

Shellac wheels are used in cylindrical grinding applications to achieve a mirror finishing on the surface ground. Molemab products designed for this application are suitable on hardened and casehardened steel or stainless steel, and they are available in different diameters and thickness depending on the machine on which they are used.

Filtering non-woven rolls
